Howdy!

Happy Autumn Equinox, everybody! During the Autumn Equinox, which happened on September 23rd this year, day and night are equal. In our minds it has been Fall for a while, but now it is official! We swing with the 30 degree temperature fluctuations throughout the day, and savor that crisp cool air in our lungs as we walk onto our increasingly sleepy farm every morning. In the spirit of Equinox, we hope you are finding balance in your lives as the seasons continue to shift. We are so pumped to see y’all again this Friday, September 29th at CSA pickup. We’ve got some fun Fall variety lined up for you this week!

Featured Recipe

This week you’ve got the chance to impress your family and friends with a kickass Roasted Golden Beet Salad by Paige Adams. The star of the show here is, of course, the golden beets! But, we encourage you to use your Cherokee Lettuce, Basil, and possibly even Kale or Cucumbers to dress this salad up. As always, we’d love for you to share what you are cooking up with us on Instagram!

We love being able to work with the seasons and listen to the land. Thank you, for enabling us to do this work, and for supporting this vast effort to create a better food system. Looking forward to another CSA this Friday, September 29th! See y’all soon.
